Remain active and independent

Having cared for her mother, Muriel, Roxanne Marshall recognized what makes life worth living when you’re older, including having access to transportation and in-home services, staying connected, and perhaps giving back by volunteering.

So, she created the Muriel H. Marshall Fund at Rochester Area Community Foundation, which is powering local programs and the ask marshall connection line. Support from this fund and the guidance of a team of Genesee County New York residents brings to life Roxanne’s vision of connecting local program providers with Genesee County’s older adults, so they can stay as independent as possible.
